Happy Birthday Mojo!

I can't believe you are 9 years old today! I remember the day you were born, like it was yesterday. Birthed out of both love and pain, you came into our lives at such a great and important time. You are still so young, but you've been able to create and spread positive Mojo to so many people. Your smile is infectious and the Joy you bring to people does not go unnoticed.

Over the years, many people have asked, "how did you come up with the name Mojo Tago?" The Mojo part came from me losing my Mojo many years ago. I was struggling for a long period of time and was having a difficult time finding my way. The Mojo Tago Truck was literally the vehicle that gave me my Mojo back. There is a TEDx talk out there somewhere if you'd like to learn more. The Tago part was a smash up of the words taco and to go. I knew I wanted to do tacos, but I wanted to allow for flexibility in our menu. Just about anything could be a Tago right? As we are beginning to expand our menu offerings, I'm glad I went with Mojo Tago and not Mojo Taco.

It is appropriate that Mojo Tago celebrates its 9th birthday on Labor Day. The team at Mojo has been working very hard to roll out a few brand new offerings. First, we'd like to introduce Culture de Mojo to our corporate clients for new and unique ways we can bring positive Mojo to your people. Next, for our local party goers and party throwers, we bring you Saturday de Mojo. Our first Saturday de Mojo will be Saturday, September 28th from 10:00 am -1:00 pm. You'll be able to go online in advance to order Tago Bars to go for your special event or game day watch party. We'll be offering Nacho Bars, Salsa Bars, Mojoritas to go, and so on. You order it online, we have it ready for pick up on Saturday de Mojo, you take it and you bake it. Lastly, you'll have the opportunity on Saturday de Mojo to check out our new line of Mojo Merch. This will include a couple of unique and amazing t-shirts, stickers, coffee cups, and who knows what else! Stay tuned with Mojo Tago for news and updates. We're just getting started......
